AI Engineer

Location

Remote, Europe / Technology

What you will do

• Find, with clients, the processes where AI saves real time or opens a new service, and say plainly where it does not.
• Build assistants and retrieval systems on large language models, grounded in the client’s own data.
• Design automations that connect AI to CRM, e-commerce, support and internal tools.
• Write evaluations that measure accuracy, cost and speed before and after every change.
• Protect data: access control, logging, redaction and a clear answer to where information goes.
• Take prototypes to production with monitoring, fallbacks and documentation.

What you bring

• AI features you have shipped to real users, with the figures that show how they perform.
• Strong Python or TypeScript, and experience with the APIs of the main model providers.
• Practice in retrieval, embeddings, tool use, structured output and prompt design.
• A testing habit: you do not trust a result you have not measured.
• An understanding of the GDPR and the EU AI Act as they apply to client projects.
• The ability to explain to a managing director what a system can and cannot do.
